Påskbrunch i sommarvärme

Idag har det varit strålande solsken och över 20 grader varmt, en riktig sommardag. Jag och Magnus tog tvärbanan till Alvik för att äta påskbrunch på Sjöpaviljongen. Sjöpaviljongen kan eventuellt bli ett nytt favoritställe. Det var jättemysigt att sitta på bryggan med närhet till vatten och fin utsikt. Brunchen var riktig god också, helst efterrättsbordet. ;)

Nu har körsbärsblommorna slagit ut i Stockholm, de är så fina. Det här är i Aspudden på väg till tunnelbanan.

Idag var vi på Barkaby outlet och tittade omkring lite. Det blev inte så mycket shoppande, men vi köpte den här fina babyfilten på Hemtex. Baksidan är vit med smala gröna ränder. :)

En vecka kvar till påsk, så jag köpte lite påskblommor. :-) Det blir nog det enda påskpyntet hos oss.

New old job

This week I started working at Titan. I’ve worked there twice before, so it’s not really a new job. But I’m really happy to be back, I enjoy it even more than I thought I would. Always exciting productions going on.

Right now I’m editing Sveriges Skönaste Familjer that can be seen on Swedish channel 5 Tuesdays nights.

Weirdest nintendo game ever?

Yesterday we had a nintendo night with some friends, playing Wii. Once again it struck me, Wario Smooth Moves has to be the weirdest nintendo game ever created. I wonder how they even came up with the idea. It is super fun to play though, or actually, it’s even more fun watching someone else play. Especially in some mini games where you have to pretend the wii controller is an elephant trunk. Take a look below to see the game, the actual game starts at 1:20.

Sweets for my sweet

After coming home from the gym today we decided to make some delicious sweets. We don’t want to get too fit from the gym. ;) We made chocolate balls rolled in chopped dajm, a Swedish candy bar that consists of something similar to butterscotch covered with milk chocolate.

Here are the receipt for these yummy balls:

100 gram butter
1 deciliter sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
4 deciliters oatmeal
2 tablespoons cacao
3 tablespoons strong cold coffee

Mix all of the above ingredients together and role the doe to small balls. Chop the dajm in small pieces and role the balls in the dajm. Leave in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!

Games played right now

I still have Christmas holiday before I start my new work on Monday. I have done a lot of different things this week, such as ice skating on a lake, going to the gym, relaxing in a jacuzzi and cooking a steak. But I’ve still had time to play some video games. Some days ago I started playing New Super Mario on NDS and I like it so much I’m already about to finish it. After that I will move on and play the game on Wii.

But New Super Mario for Wii has to wait because today I got hooked on another Wii game: Trivial Pursuit. You can play it by yourself, trying to unlock objects and beat your own records. But it’s even more fun to play with your friends and compete against each other. If you haven’t tried TP for Wii I strongly recommend you to do so. :) Here is a game review I’ve found on youtube:

The calender

The new year is here and it’s time to stop eating all the Christmas sweets and start exercising again. I’m happy Magnus joined my gym some days ago, so now we can go there together.

As a motivator we have hung a calender at the wall between our monitors. I have bought some cute small stickers that we will use to mark the days we have been to the gym. I will use pink stickers and Magnus will use blue.

I have been going to the same gym for one year and I like it a lot. This will make it even more fun. I can’t wait until I get to choose next cute sticker. ;)

But that’s not all. At the end of each month we will count the stickers. The one of us with least stickers has to cook dinner for the other person.

It has been really snowy and cold in Sweden lately. It creates a certain Xmas feeling, but it isn’t nice when you have to sit on an airport and wait for delayed flights. That’s what I’m doing now. So far my flight is delayed 1.5 hours because of the weather. :(

Update: In total the flight got delayed 2 hours, but I made it. :)
